The Mercer County Historical Society is powered by volunteers. Help in the archives, greet researchers, lead a downtown history walk, or pitch in at West Virginia Day — pick an open shift below, or tell us about yourself and we'll be in touch.

New volunteers complete a short application so we can match you to the right role. All volunteers go through a brief screening before working with the public.
